Access Statement
The BEST WESTERN Diplomat Hotel was built in 1810, and so it has some physical limitations to accessibility, however, features such as wide doors, low tread stairways are a advantage. Once inside the hotel entrance, you have four steps up to ground floor level, a wheelchair lift here will take you to ground floor level of main hotel areas including the restaurants and public lounge bar. A disability tiolet is available on ground floor. lifts to all bedroom floor levels.
The new accomodation has lift and wheelchair access to all floors. A bedroom on ground floor wide door and walk in shower with seat. We do all we can, to provide all our guests with excellent service. We provide a personal and caring service and we try to overcome any barriers that the physical limitations of the property may create. We and all our staff are sensitive to all our guests needs and will be delighted to help in the restaurant with check in, check out, and at all other times during your stay
Staff are always on-hand to offer assistance regarding menu choices or wine recommendations.

Eden Spa
The Spa and its treatment rooms are on the basement floor. All guests have exclusive use of the spa facilities where our trained staff are always on-hand to make a stay at The Best Western Diplomat Hotel even more enjoyable.
Changing rooms are designed for easy access as they have full wet room facilities.
