Served on the terrace weather permitting or in the comfort of our lounge or in Trubshaw’s Restaurant. Enjoy a mouth-watering selection of finely cut sandwiches, speciality cakes including freshly baked scones all complimented by a selection of teas and coffee.

Served daily between 12pm – 4.30pm (Monday to Saturday) or 3pm - 4pm (Sunday).

Traditional Afternoon Tea

Afternoon tea is said to have originated with one person; Anna, 7th Duchess of Bedford. In the early 1800’s she launched the idea of having tea in the late afternoon to bridge the gap between luncheon and dinner.

Pre-booking is required. Prices are not applicable for Mothering Sunday, Easter, Christmas and Special Events.
